Visions of Science exists to help tear down the barriers that stand in the way of equitable access to STEM by providing Black and other racialized youth from low-income communities with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive in the field.

The six bright colours in the brand identity system illustrate the diverse backgrounds of all young people who benefit from Visions’ advocacy and programs. This colour palette is also a nod to the visible light spectrum, a metaphor for STEM's innovative and creative power. Moreover, the combination of this spectrum creates white light, which depicts Visions' goal of creating a brighter future together.



The photography features youth from communities across the Greater Toronto Area. We invited people from our programs and teams and external collaborators to participate in a photoshoot that could showcase Visions' authentic faces.


Typography and composition in the brand identity system convey Visions' modern, dynamic, and urban essence.
A heavy sans-serif typeface and vibrant graphics communicate a cohesive message: we are BOLD - we are STEM. 
This project is part of a larger team effort to enhance Visions of Science's brand identity, elevate its perception, and bring awareness and new supporters to its mission. This work, in turn, contributes to the organization’s goals of becoming more visible, bolstering its reputation, driving advocacy, and rallying community members and entities to support a mission and vision that benefits our society.
